On Sunday, the Minister of Health and Population Hridesh Tripathi received 560 oxygen cylinders delivered in collaboration with the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and the Nepali Mission in Muscat, Oman.
The cylinders will be distributed to provinces throughout the country.
The cylinders were purchased with funds raised in the Middle East with the assistance of Nepalis.
100 cylinders will be distributed in Sudurpaschim Province, 100 in Karnali Province, 200 in Lumbini Province, 85 in Province 2, and 75 in Gandaki Province, according to him.
Kumar Pant, President of NRNA, announced that 670 oxygen concentrators will be delivered soon.
