KATHMANDU: A French national was discovered dead in his leased residence in Kathmandu’s Boudha district.
On Saturday, Mark Gerard Bajus, a 67-year-old French national with the passport number 08 CK04123, was discovered dead.
“He’d been in Boudha for a long time. He used to travel back and forth from France to Nepal. On Saturday, his body was discovered in his home,” stated DSP Karki.
Karki claimed that Bajus led a secluded existence with few companions. Police are investigating what he did and when he last landed in Nepal.
According to police, the cause of death has yet to be determined. Bajus had complained of a sore throat for a few days, and there were no obvious injuries on his body. The body was taken to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for a post-mortem examination.
