‘Esewa,’ Nepal’s first and leading payment service provider, has now introduced a new useful feature for its customers. Esewa users can now load balance into their accounts by simply connecting their bank account to their Esewa account. This is a one-time procedure that the consumer must complete.
Users will be able to load money into Esewa more conveniently via mobile banking after connecting their Esewa account to their bank account. Subhas Sapkota, Esewa’s Chief Executive Officer, said that the account linking feature was introduced to make it easier for users to load balance into their accounts. ‘Esewa is always on the lookout to provide the most up-to-date services to its customers,’ he said.
Esewa users must first have a certified Esewa account in order to use the Account Connection service. Then, in both esewa and their respective bank, the mobile number must be the same.
To connect Esewa to a bank account, first go to the Load Money option on the Esewa homepage.
The mobile banking platform will then appear. After that, you must enter your phone number and password. The bank account will be connected to the service after you enter the OTP password obtained on your mobile and click on ‘Pay.’
To load the sum in the service holder account after linking the bank account, log in to the service account, go to the ‘Load Money’ choice, and select the bank account you linked. The sum to be deposited in the service, as well as other details, can then be easily loaded.
Esewa accounts can currently be connected to 20 different member banks and financial institutions. Other banks will be included in the near future.
Insurance premiums, share transfers, mobile, telephone, internet, power, and drinking water tariffs, recharges, airplanes, bus fares, and school-college fees can all be paid from Esewa.
Esewa currently has 50 members, including banks and financial institutions. The Load Wallet feature, which is available in various bank apps, allows users to easily load balance to their esewa account.
