KATHMANDU: Shekhar Golchha, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has stated that the governmentR17;s budget is encouraging, but its execution will be difficult.
Some initiatives to revitalize COVID-19-affected sectors, according to FNCCI President Golchha, are critical. “Concessions to the most afflicted tourism and entertainment industries, as well as the government’s startup capital fund for establishing small and medium-sized businesses, are beneficial.”
He did, however, have reservations about the overall budget’s success. “The difficulty is that suggested initiatives always have a low budget. On the implementation front, I don’t see much of a difference.”
