KATHMANDU: The immunization program against COVID-19 in Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been postponed. On Thursday evening, the municipality published a notice announcing that the immunization campaign had been halted.
The immunization program has been postponed until further notice due to information received from the Department of Health Services that the vaccine doses have run out and replacement doses are not available.
Beginning on June 8th, the municipality initiated a program to vaccinate older citizens aged 60 to 64. This program, which was set for wards 1 through 32 at the metropolis’ ward offices, has been rescheduled.
