Jyoti Bikash Bank and the Nepal Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) have signed a cooperation agreement. The two parties have agreed to provide various banking services to businessmen and employees working in such institutions.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Jyoti Bikash Bank by Chief Executive Officer Shrichandra Bhatta and the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs of Nepal by FWEAN Chairperson Rita Simha. According to the agreement, the bank will offer professional loans, loan services, and simple financial services at a reduced rate to businessmen and employees working in such institutions.
Furthermore, Jyoti Bikash Bank has stated that it will provide digital banking services to entrepreneurs under FWEAN as well as assist them in smoothly implementing it in their businesses. Entrepreneurs claim that by incorporating digital payment services into their businesses, they will be able to provide greater convenience to their customers.
In addition, in collaboration with FWEAN, the bank will launch a number of programs aimed at modernizing banking, increasing financial literacy, and fostering entrepreneurship. Jyoti Bikash Bank currently operates 105 branch offices, one extension counter, and 62 bits.
