Laxmi Bank raises interest rate on savings, brings Orange Savings Plus loaded with offers

Customers will now get a 4.5 percent annual interest rate as well as more enticing features from the bank’s Orange Savings Plus savings account, according to the bank.

Customers an Orange Savings Plus account will get up to Rs 1 lakh in annual health insurance and up to Rs 10 lakh in accidental death and disability insurance. The bank has partnered with Everest Insurance medical and Shikhar Insurance for accidental insurance.

In addition, the bank will have a free debit card, credit card, and dollar card, and the charge for using Laxmi Bank’s debit card at any ATM in Nepal will be refunded.

Customers who open an Orange Savings Plus account during the month of Baisakh will get a free Laxmi Bank Prepaid Dollar card as part of the New Year’s deal. The offer is also valid for current Orange Saving Plus customers, according to the bank.

Similarly, in the special account “Shubhshree Lakshmi Savings Account” for employees working in different organisations, the bank is offering a higher interest rate of 4.5 percent with various facilities.
