Lumbini General Insurance is proposing a 10% dividend

The shareholders of Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (LGIL) have been paid a dividend. The declaration of dividends dates from 2076/77.

According to Nepse, the 220th board meeting of BS, which took place on Baisakh 2, 2078, announced a 0% dividend (including tax) to its shareholders. Non-life insurance offered a 5% and a 5% cash dividend as part of the overall dividend (also for tax purpose).

Lumbini General Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs. 114.18 crores as of Ashad’s end 2077 BS. The bonus share is worth Rs. 5.70 crores at this capital. Similarly, the cash dividend is Rs 5.70 crores.

LGIL had distributed an 8.53 percent dividend, including an 8.125 percent bonus share, in the previous fiscal year 2075/76.

The dividend will be paid out following approval from Beema Samiti and the company’s upcoming AGM.
