Nepal will receive financial assistance from the World Bank in the amount of Rs. 7 billion (US$60 million). On Friday, the bank’s board of directors approved a resolution to assist in improving the quality of higher education in Nepal.
The World Bank’s aid will be used to fund higher education and practical education for students in underserved communities.
Similarly, technical education, research, and entrepreneurship will be prioritized.
According to a World Bank statement, the help might be spent in students who are unable to pursue higher education because of the tragedy.
