The European Union has renewed its ban on airline businesses based in Nepal from operating in EU countries. All Nepalese companies have been included in an updated air safety list.
Since 2013, Nepali airline firms have been forbidden from flying in European skies due to the European Commission’s decision to place the country on a no-fly list.
Under duress, the administration produced a bill in 2019 to implement unbundling. However, due to a variety of obstacles, the bill has yet to be approved.
Nepal Airlines Corporation, Nepal’s national flag carrier, has been hurt the most by the prohibition. Officials with the NAC said they are working to extend the corporation’s destinations, but several countries are hesitant because of the EU restriction.
