KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), state-owned trading enterprise that imports and distributes petroleum products, has decided to halt the import of petroleum products from Raxaul depot.
According to NOC’s Spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyay, petroleum dealers, who used to purchase fuel from the depot, in Bara and Parsa districts are asked to make arrangement for acquiring petroleum products from NOC Province 2 office.
Following NOC’s decision, a team from NOC’s central office, Bara and Parsa Petroleum Dealers Association and local administration convened in a meeting to resolve the differences.
