Pokhara, the tourist city, has been rebranded as ‘Pokhara Pure as Paradise’ by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Gandaki Province. Pokhara was previously known as ‘Paradise Pokhara.’
According to Dr Dhananjaya Regmi, chief executive officer of the NTB, this rebranding is part of the country’s branding of tourist destinations. He hoped that this branding would help Pokhara become known as a tourist destination both nationally and internationally.
According to Kashi Raj Bhandari, senior director of the NTB, the rebranding was done with the help of expert suggestions and advice.
