The Realme 8 Pro is a follow-up to the Realme 7 Pro. The phone has received some exciting updates, including the addition of a huge 108-megapixel sensor. The phone has an endlessly bold look, a large battery backup, and super-fast charging capabilities. There are some of the phone’s most notable features.
Realme Nepal is yet to announce an official launch date in Nepal. However, it is almost assured that it will be available in the country’s market in the near future.
Let’s take a closer look at the phone.
Display and design
The infinite bold architecture of the Realme 8 Pro is inspired by a radiant and limitless universe. On the back of the handset, there is a large logo design. The phone’s latest anti-glare crystal process also gives it a starry appearance. The phone is made of glass on the front, plastic on the frame, and plastic on the back. The phone is light and secure in the ear, weighing about 176 grams and measuring just 8.1mm thick. The phone has an optical fingerprint sensor built into the display.
A 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels is featured on the screen. The phone has a 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio and can achieve a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. This should allow you to use your phone in broad daylight without difficulty.
On the back of the Realme 8 Pro is a quad-camera setup. The main camera is a huge 108MP sensor, which is joined by an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a field of view of 119 degrees, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP B&W sensor. The camera also has a 3x super zoom lens. Smart-ISO technology is also included in the camera for improved Super nightscape mode.
The camera on this phone has an interesting feature: it has a tilt-shift time-lapse video that makes the buildings and people look like miniatures. There’s also a time-lapse video mode with stars. The camera can record videos in 4K at 30 frames per second. A LED flash is also located just below the camera building. A 16MP front-facing camera can capture videos in 1080p at 120 frames per second.
A dual-video mode allows the user to simultaneously capture videos with the front and rear cameras.
Battery life and performance
Realme 8 Pro is powered by Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11. An Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset powers this unit. Adreno 618 handles the graphics on the screen. This should provide enough juice for a good gaming session.
The phone is powered by a non-removable battery with a capacity of 4500mAh. The battery is charged using a 50W quick charger, which can charge the battery to 50% capacity in 17 minutes and 100% capacity in 47 minutes. You can easily surf past your day with this strength.
Connectivity and storage
There are two versions of the Realme 8 Pro available right now. Both models have 128GB of internal storage, but they vary in RAM (6 and 8 GB). If the user wants to expand the memory, the phone has a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
Dual nano sim cards are supported by the unit. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5.0. The phone supports NFC and has a USB Type-C 2.0 port. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included.
Price of Realme 8 Pro in Nepal
When it arrives in Nepal, the 6 and 8 GB variants should cost about Rs 32,000 and Rs 35,000, respectively.
