KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has chosen to reschedule the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), which had been postponed owing to the coronavirus outbreak, using a different evaluation system.
According to Chandra Mani Poudel, Chairperson of the Board, a meeting of the Board has resolved to administer the SEE examination using an alternate assessment method.
“We have proposed to the Ministry of Education that the SEE be conducted through alternate assessment,” he stated.
According to him, the SEE would be held in accordance with the Ministry of EducationR17;s decision.
Last Thursday, a task group chaired by Director General of the Education and Human Resource Development Center Baikuntha Prasad Aryal submitted a report to the board.
Following receipt of the report, the board began deliberations on the examination’s modalities on Friday.
