Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL), one of Nepal’s leading non-life insurance companies, has posted a 10% rise in net profit over the previous fiscal year’s corresponding period. Until the third quarter of this fiscal year, the insurance firm had a net profit of Rs 36.33 crores, up from Rs 32.95 crores in the same period last year.
SICL has a paid-up capital of Rs 175.85 crores, with Rs 61.76 crores in assets and surplus as of Chaitra end 2077 BS. Similarly, the insurance fund had a value of Rs 123.89 crores. The business has a Rs 338.60 crore investment portfolio (short and long term investments).
Shikhar Insurance received Rs 296.57 crores in gross premium and Rs 108.24 crores in net premium in the first nine months of fiscal year 2077/78. The company paid a net claim of Rs 64.02 crores during this period.
SICL has an annualized EPS of Rs 27.93 and a per-share networth of Rs 216.39, according to the per-share ratios.
