Nepal Airlines Corporation tickets can now be purchased using a digital payment system (QR code). From today, the company has begun using the QR scan system in collaboration with Nepal Bank Limited.
At a ceremony held at the Corporation’s Central Office, General Manager Dim Prakash Poudel and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Krishna Bahadur Adhikari jointly inaugurated the operation.
Dim Prakash Poudel, the Corporation’s General Manager, said that in the changing world, the value of digital payment is growing, and that the Corporation will be adding more sophisticated services in the coming days.
He shared his delight at being able to work with Nepal’s first and oldest bank in the payment system, saying that it would make it easier to purchase and pay for tickets even from remote and rural areas.
Krishna Bahadur Adhikari, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Bank Limited, said he had the opportunity to implement and manage new technologies to help the company’s financial transactions system.
