Xiaomi Hypercharge: Charge for a Full Day in 5 Minutes
Xiaomi demonstrated that a custom-built Mi 11 Pro with a 4,000mAh battery can be charged in less than 8 minutes utilizing 200W cable charging. That is twice as fast as the market’s fastest, which is 15 minutes. Similarly, Xiaomi demonstrated their 120W quick wireless charging technology. This fast charger can charge a 4,000mAh battery from zero to 100 percent in just 15 minutes. Previously, Xiaomi held the record for the fastest 67W wireless charging on the Mi 11 Ultra. Breaking your own record is fun for some businesses these days.
The sample video demonstrates a 10% charge in 44 seconds, a 50% charge in 3 minutes 23 seconds, and a 100% charge in 7 minutes 57 seconds utilizing wired 200W charging. The wireless charging charged the gadget to 50% in around 7 minutes and to 100% in about 15 minutes. This is still faster than the majority of wired chargers on the market. You can charge your phone for nearly a whole day by simply plugging it in for 5 minutes while getting ready. It is as simple as it sounds.
However, this is only a demonstration provided by the corporation; no phone currently supports the technology. Perhaps in the near future, we will witness the Hypercharge technology in action. Another critical point to address is the heating problem. Previously, all 120W charging compatible devices heated up quite a bit while using the charger’s full capacity. It will be fascinating to watch how Xiaomi manages the thermal department in order to keep the phone cool. But for the time being, we can only wait and see.
