Smartphone shipments increased by 12% globally in the second quarter of 2021, according to Canalys, a technology market analyst. Similarly, Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone company, has surpassed Apple, an American IT powerhouse.
Brand of Korean Technology Samsung holds the number one position in the global smartphone industry. Samsung has 19% of the worldwide smartphone market. According to Canalys, Xiaomi has a 17 percent market share, Apple has a 14 percent market share, Oppo has a 10% market share, and Vivo has a 10% market share.
Xiaomi has announced an 83 percent increase in sales, while the other businesses have reported annual market growth ranging from 1% to 28%. Apple has the lowest annual market growth at 1%. According to Canalys, Samsung has a 15% annual growth rate, Vivo has a 27% annual growth rate, and Oppo has a 28% annual growth rate.
